And when is says left and right head assembly, that means i need to get both for a v6 right?

The cylinder head assembly includes the head, valves, and rocker arm on cars. On cars that have an overhead cam that is also part of the assembly.
You can replace just one side of a V6 without replacing the other side and it will typically save you some money by just doing one side, but it depends on how many miles are on your car and what caused one side to fail.
It is a lot of work to just do one side and it isn't much more to do both sides, but the heads can be expensive to replace.
Do a compression check on both sides and you can contact me with the numbers and I may be better able to advise you.
Do the compression check first and then do it again after you add a shot of oil down each cylinder. The oil will tell me if it is your valves or rings that are causing the the problem.
