what does it mean when you have blood clots that look like reagular bleeding while your pregnant? We just found out that I'm pregnant so its early in the pregnancy. Does that make a difference?

Is it blood clots? Are does it look like you started your period? If it is blood clots, you might have lost your baby, but if it looks like a period, you have a 50/50 chance to keep the baby....I am bleeding, and on bedrest until I am 18 weeks, I am only 11 wks 2 days, today and I'm not allowed to pick up my kids, clean the house, it is complete bedrest!!! Talk to your doctor ASAP, and from there, he/she will give you an ultrasound, to make sure you are okay, I hope you are and good luck and best wishes to you!!!

Yes, it makes a drastic difference. Any bleeding is considered in the very least a threatened miscarriage. It's very dangerous, especially this early in the pregnancy. You need to go to your local ER, now. Passing clots is even a bigger concern.

my mother had a blood clot that burst when she was pregnant with my brother, and she didn't loose him...

it could mean something is wrong with the baby, go to the er to get checked!

Well it seems to me that you might loose this pregnancy. Might want to call your Dr and go see him......
