Early on, the Greeks took over a large part of Italye. They brought with them a great deal of Architectural knowledge, and a great knowledge of science. They brought with them their Gods, and their temples. The romans were invaded by christians when Paul came to Rome and converted many. They also brought their government ideas which now have spread to all the civilized world. Their influence was eventually spread all over the world by the Roman empire, which was one of the last great empires that controlled the world as it was known except china and Russia.
