No, not similiar at all. Their cosmology usually included both the male and female aspect.

An example:

The king of Mictlan was Mictlantecuhtli, and the queen was Mictecacihuatl. They exerted sovereignty over the “nine underground rivers” and on the souls of dead.
The other Gods of Mictlan they were Cihuacoatl (that controlled the Mictlan spirits called Ciuteoteo), Acolmiztli, Chalmecacihuilt, Chalmecatl and Acolnahuacatl.
