As my grandfather used to say there is no justice there is just us. Justice would mean being innocent until proven guilty, a fair and impartial jury of ones peers, something in return for our tax dollars, honest polititions, yes there was wisdom in my grandfahters words, there is no justice

retributive
egalitarian
democratic
utilitarian
meritocratic (just deserts)
the most important in this day and age is global social justice. i think it is based on a moral feeling of fairness rather than a political/conceptual idea.
