It wasn't "introduced", B, it evolved in monkeys there - monkeys that were hunted and eaten by locals. The blasted virus mutated into one that was able to "jump" from one species to another - in this case, unfortunately, from the monkeys to humans. It is still evolving, and we certainly haven't heard the last of it - and won't for a long, long time.
I know, I know - a number of folks have come to distrust the Caucasian race so deeply that they're perfectly willing to believe
AIDS is a white man's plot to exterminate all blacks. It simply isn't so. When AIDS first began to show up as a human illness, nobody had developed the technology that would've been needed to devise such a biological weapon. Yes, there were other bio weapons under development - but this one would have demanded far, far more advanced technolgy than then existed. It's still a terrible plague to have been visited on humankind, and our best response is not to attempt to assign blame but to help spread the word about how to prevent AIDS. It IS preventable, after all...

From what I understand, it was never "introduced" as biological warfare. Microbes are quickly mutating - its only a matter of time until the right combination of features are produced to take advantage of holes in a hosts defenses. That's what happened with AIDS/HIV, and that's what happens with any pathogenic disease. Nature finds a way!

The AIDS virus originated in Africa, it was not introduced to Africa.

Not buying...

But, AIDS is defined differently in Africa than in the US. So, it's impossible to evaluate some quantity claims routinely used in the media.

It evolved from SIV (simeon immuno deficiency virus), which evolved from FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), which evolved from BIV (bovine Immunodeficiency Virus). All in the African Continent over the last hundred or so years.

Child rape, especially in south african grade schools is highly rampant, and a major contributor to its continued progenity. This and other social issues must be addressed and mitigated. it is not a "whitey" conspiracy if that is what youre trying to suggest.

AIDS is spread through close contact like sex and kissing. The spread of aids in Africa is mainly because of ignorance of the disease

No one knows for sure if AIDS originated in Africa, stop theorizing. It could've just as likely been indonesia where baboons are used as sex slaves.
