I have 4 big goldfish. The largest is 6 inches long and I've noticed that it has tiny red spots all along one side and a few under it's belly.

What are these red dots and what can I do to make them go away?!?!?!

Is your goldfish a lionhead? Well, I once always had this happening to my lionhead and I found a way to cure this quickly. (Your fish doesn't have to be a lionhead for this method to work. I tried it when my other fish had the same problem and it worked)

First, add some Stress Coat to your tank. You must add the right amount. Read the label carefully.

Next, go to a pet store that sells fish supplies and buy two kinds of fish medicine, Ick Clear and Fungus Clear.

The next step depends on the size of your tank. On the box for the tablets, it says to add one for every ten gallons. Well, always add one less than the amount you're supposed to add. Let's say 30 gallons, you only add 2, not three. First add the Ick Clear. Wait for a three days.

If the Ick Clear does not work, add the Fungus Clear, following the same directions I gave above.

Finally, over the week, your fish should be improving in health and the red spots should disappear. REMEMBER always add Stress Coat after a water change.
