I nthat say that if you stop, your acne will come back. I don't know if its true or not since I've never stopped using it. If you decide to use it, make sure to start out slowly like once a day, then gradually use it morning & nite. Otherwise, your skin gets very dry and itchy since your skin isn't use to the chemicals yet. But if you don't have an acne problem, you really don't need to invest in this product. You can just go to Target and buy a cleanser, toner, & moisturizer from Johnson & Johnson Clean & Clear Line. I like those products too especially their oil-free moisturizer.

I used it for a few years. After a year or so it stopped working as well for me. When I called ProActiv to discontinue it, they suggested I try alternating months between the sensitive skin and regular versions of it. So I tried that for another year but still didn't get as good of results as the first year that I used it.
Now I use Mary Kay Miracle Set and my skin is just as good or better than when I was on ProActiv.

I really really like Proactiv. I have used it for a few years and have never had a problem with it. There have been a few times that with the cost of Proactiv I went to something cheaper, but have always gone back to using it. At the same time, my roommate has used it and it didn't work for her. It is benzoyl peroxide based and it doesn't work for her. Most store cleansers are salicylic acid based, so if they aren't working for you I would consider Proactiv of finding something made with benzoyl peroxide.

Probably. It is nothing new, just by giving you a 3-step approach, it gives the user more chances to properly use the stuff. Worth a trial. If they have that. If not, see a dermatologist and do what he/she recommends or prescribes.

I've used it. It doesn't work that well. It keeps your acne away for like a day and then it just keeps comin' back. It sucks. Don't buy it.
