I write a friend who is a girl that a party we went to was so boring and the people there were so thin-skinned that I really couldn't enjoy myself. She writes back that she thinks that's funny of me to say, and states that usually girls are that way so she state that is why "she has lost of friends who are guys." How should I interpret her statment?

I think that she is just being honest.
I personally feel that I can sometimes relate better to girls (yes I am straight) than other guys.

That she would rather have friends that are guys, than friends that are girls, because girls are too sensitive.
