My roomie and i were trying to decided what our bellybuttons look like on the inside..i mean you know it was once attached to something when you were in uterus..but...what about now..anyone know? or have a site that does?

According to Wikipedia it is a scar on the skin of the abdomen. it does go into more detail...see link below

Ewww!! lol I have always been really sensitive about my belly-button...not the looks of it (it looks like your average belly-button) but the inside of it. I don't know why. If I touch anywhere except just the most outer part of it, it's like fingernails on a chalkboard. And the thought of the very inside of it is so....eeeewww!! Maybe it's because I know it was once open to my insides and it was what kept me alive?? I don't know...=)

...your belly button is the tied up end of what used to be the umbilical cord. aka your feeding tube from mommy to baby. it goes into your stomach
its just a knot of tissue that has healed

your level of boredom is astounding.I would have been reduced to tears by the time we got to belly buttons! Don't you have something further south to get into? :-)
