To date, the church has done quite a bit of covering up any reported abuses, the whole situation is a criminal disgrace. Churches are as subject to the law as much as individuals. The church, if proven compicant or negligent, should be charged with collusion, obstruction of justice, and harboring of criminals with the highest knowlegable leaders punished or imprisoned..

Why do u keep generalizing that much republicans? , that is one of the reasons why u always get into trouble, u stereotype people, u now also believe all Arabs r terrorists while Bush at this very moment is feeling stronger and stronger because he is getting richer and richer out the Iraqis oil...

Pedophiles in catholic church will live with Satan anyway. America won't fight the church. Also, the democrats won't because John Kerry is a priest and has gotten with many an alter boy. Joking. But we won't fight the church. Anyone know why it is always catholic priests who are the pedophiles?

Amazing how many people feel that the govt shouldnt get involved with the church..,but when you break a law its ok to hide behind the walls of a church.Look at the illegal alien in Illinois and hid from deportation to mexico by hiding in the catholic church.The continual dismissal of this issue by the Catholic church is taking its toll on attendance and faith of the Catholic religion.I will hand it to Pope Benedict for standing to the leaders of the church calling for the intolerance to stop.
