A Woman Knock at my front door it happened to be a woman in a full vail so i decided not to open the door but to look and talk to the woman though the letterbox its the same differnce would u say so?

Actually, you do bring up a good point. Since, the rationale behind the veil, in Islam, is to accord the woman a sense of modesty, by not being looked at, it should make no difference to her that you spoke through your doorway. After all, a man has a right to be modest to. What gives her the right to gaze upon your face, when you don’t have the right to gaze at hers? That’s what I call equal rights. Good call.

You did the right thing...but I am just surprised her husband allowed her out of the house AND to go knocking on some strangers door!!

uhh, i guess. the difference would probably be a woman in full hijab garb is probably wearing it because of her coming from a culture that embraces the modesty of women, while you talking through the letterbox is you being a douche.
