i unplugged my nano while it was on and charging and now it has a white blank screen.how can i get it working?

this happened to my sisters ipod nano, all you have to do is keep pressing down the hold button at the top and it shud reset.

Hold down the Play and main button( center) for about 10 secs and it will reset

plug it back in and take it out.
