Tape record it and then play it for her. If she does nothing, talk to your school counselor.

Get yourself a tape recorder and hide it in your purse or jacket or soemthing and when he starts to yell just turn it on and record. Don't share this tape with your Mom until you have at least 5 or six instances when he's been acting a fool. Make sure you get a back up copy of the tape. More than likely when you play it for the both of them some one might get a little upset and try to grab it because they can't face the truth. Another thing you can do is to secretly record him and then go to a friend or relatives house and call home and when your Mom answers play the tape for her. Sometimes love is blind but I'm willing to bet if you have proof your Mom will divorce him or force him to treat you better.

You need help....you could tape him but why does your mum not believe you. Go to an Aunt or Uncle or your Dad if he's on the scene and tell them get somebody else to talk to your mum about it... Some people can be abusive and this guy is starting with you...I would never be around him alone invite a friend over go with your mum leave the house...and get help a relative friends mum etc somebody can help you.

Sounds like she is blinded by love.

I would try to record it...cell phone or tape recorder.

When he does this is she is the house?

Has anyone else ever heard him.

Don't give up, try talking to her some more.
OR
while they are both together ask him why he does it.
Is there anything you can do to make it better?
Sometimes reverse psychology can bring out the truth.
And if this guy is doing what he is, he may say straight up with out thinking...Yeah you could...

just a thought...but would only do this with your mom there.

If I were you I would try not to have any alone time with him, until you can solve this as a family.

Have you told anyone else...family, friends, teacher, church?
They are all good forms of support too.

Best wishes

Elizabeth, I know this may seem weird or or a bit whacked out but there is a chance that this guy has the hots for you. He is probably in love with your mom sure enough, but when alone with you (you must be gorgeous) He hates to feel the sensations or guilt running through his brain! Ergo... the harsh treatment. To make it stop, record him. Try to understand you don't want to dissolve the relationship between him and your Mom, so your going to have to approach your mom with this carefully. Try being understanding and say you don't want the two of them to break up, just the unreasonable treatment. If you don't have a recorder ask your Friends, someone has to have one.

You need to find a way to get proof to show your mom. If you got a tape recorder or cell phone i would use that. It sounds like your mom is in denial and doesn't want to confront her new husband for fear of being alone. Very tough situation and I feel for you. You need to find a support group so you can vent your frustrations. Also if your mom leaves tell her your not going to be left alone with him. Ask to go with her or to a friends house. Maybe then she will get the hint. Take care and good luck. ((Hugs))

Ok, my almost 16 yr old daughter says punch him in the face - but really, your mom doesn't believe you? Have you ever had anyone around with him acting like this? Maybe tape him when he acts this way or video him if possible. I would believe my daughter FIRST!!!! Good luck, that is not a good situation.

Get a small tape recorder and record when he talks to you. My cousin had the same trouble with her mother-in-law and it was the only way to get her husband to believe her. Hide it so he will never know and talk to you mom about it, make her listen to the tapes.

Sweety, once you get your fill of answers to your question, sit your mom down and have her read them.

It sounds like your mom is just settleing for this man, if she seems to only believe him and not you.

How possible is it for you to get out and get a job, so your not around him while she's gone? Are you old enough to get a job?

IF he ever even attemps to use bodily injury to you, call the police. And don't worry about any one but you.

Try to keep busy where your not around him.

OK first is the smack sexual then if so then you need to report him to child services if your mom do not believe you or has not attempted to talk to him.next is where is your father ,is he in the picture at all if so get him involve maybe you can stay with him or someone else in the family when your mother is not home.but the best thing is scare your mom into listening by telling her she will not listen or take you serious then you will get outside assistant.

Gosh, that's a difficult thing. It's got to be hard for your mom because this is her husband and I'm sure that she doesn't want this marriage to go south. On the other hand, her first priority and allegiance should be to you.

Do you have a school counselor you can talk to about this?
