I dunno, but I heard your brain shrinks during pregnancy, maybe that's a side effect during that process?

I hope you are keeping Dr. appointments and taking the vitamins. Low iron can cause you to be dizzy or black out. You also need the folic acid for prevention of birthdefects, so please don't miss appts. or vitaming. You can spot weeks before birth but usually not until a few days or hours of delivery. You need to wait on the labor paind then talk to the Dr. about how soon to call or come in. all Dr.'s are different on how they want their patients to respond, depending on where you live and how the hospitals are. Good luck.

This can actually be quite common. I never blacked out but I was experiencing major head rushes where I'd come close to blacking out. What I did was increase my iron because that can be a sign of anemia.

That happened ALOT during my pregnancy.
Make sure the midwife keeps checking your iron levels. After I gave birth, it was found that I was anaemic enough to need a transfusion, and I think that is what caused my dizziness through out my pregnancy.

My wife used to get dizzy spells and the doctors said it could be anemia (low iron levels), or low blood sugar.

it can be due to alot of things, anemia being one, also your blodd vessels widen which brings more blood to your baby and less blood to your brain which can make you feel dizzy or cause blackouts.
