when driving,any suggestions,have replaced thermostat.

Put the thermostat in a pan of water with a thermometer. heat the water and see what temp the thermostat opens.

the engine fan is not working properly sometimes the vehicles are eqquipt with too on cools the radiatior and one cools the ac reach tempature and see if they come one

does the fan motor come on ? sounds like no air flow at idle,when you are driving there is ambient air flow

check your fan on the radiator. if it isn't that have your radiator and motor flushed out to remove buildup.

check fan relay, or fuse. temp sensor. fan itself may be bad.
