Well, it all depends on what type of cat you are going as...

1. If you are a traditional black Halloween cat..you could simply go out and buy a kit , complete with whiskers and nose, and just darken your eye shadow and paint your lips...but,
If you want top be creative, brush on your darkened blush or shadow with a paintbrush or makeupbrush, in short , whispy strokes on your cheeks and around the perimeter of your face and eyes....darken your eyes by using a black liner pencil, maybe use false eyelashes to get the sexier, nightime-eyes look...darken in the tip of your nose in an "upside -down" triangle shape in pink , outlined in black or just use black.........use a pinkish/melon lipstick or liner because really, when have you ever seen a black cat with red lips?????

2. If you are going as a tabby or mixed-cat,..or a tiger/lion, lioness try to get a picture of the cat you are going for, to use as an example...and set it up in front of you to refer to... (you can buy a makeup kit with similar colors in it for cheap at a halloween store)
Try to imitate the colors and shapes of the animal's features on your face (even if they look strange to you at first) this is something that will come together nicely in the end...use false eyelashes to get the right eye-look...(ask for someone to help if you can't put on yourself) if you take the time, and NOT rush your makeup job, you will definately be impressed at your skills and the outcome, and so will your friends....

*** Your hair should try to mimic the cat as much as possible without looking cheesy...
don't lacquer it down with hairspray if possible but, depending on the length of your hair, try rolling it up in curlers or clips prior to doing your makeup (it will keep it out of your face while you're doing your makeup too) and use a dryer to blow warm air onto curlers to set up, after cooling off, take curlers out and lighly separate with fingers, to get the wild, soft look..goes great with cat makeup...if your hair is shorter, then try blowdrying upside down with a light mouse or gel in all directions to get a wild, fluffed look, don't make it too sculpted, let it be natural as possible..and add a colored bow on the side of your hair to accent....or a mouse or flower, looks cute.

GOOD LUCK!!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I've constantly determined braided pigtails to be beautiful. However if you are being a princess then a bun or prime pontytail is most probably essentially the most right coiffure. I'm a man so I do not particularly realize what I'm speaking approximately.

For the makeup a simple thing to do is a black triange upside down for a nose and some whiskers.
