If you're implying that he cheated for the ALCS and ALDS, take into account that the Tigers won Game 3 of the ALDS 7-0, which suggests that the Tigers would have won that game, regardless of what's on Kenny Rogers hand.
And for Game 3 of the ALDS, the margin was less, but even if you give that game to the Athletics, the Tigers would be up 3-1 after 4 games, and most likely would have won that series anyways.

Kenny Rogers didn't cheat. He was the ONLY pitcher that didn't make an error. That's what cost them the World Series.

Kenny didn't need to cheat, as shown by his performance after "cleaning off the dirt".
So why did he do it??? I think it was a mental thing. I think he needed that little "edge" that was gonna get him over his previous playoff lackluster performances.....
Unfortunately he tainted a great season and post-season by the Detroit Tigers....since it seemed like it was a mental thing for him, I wish he would have just worn one of those stupid titanium necklaces like most of the other guys...it would have been much less embarrassing!
