Talking to ( or seeing ) loved ones , near ,or far away . Good cooking in the kitchen ; staying home . I prefer not to mix with "Sunday drivers " if I don't have to .

-A good weekend, like someone said above, has to start with a Friday night out with friends. A club or a nice casino lounge and hit the all-night diner afterwards. Saturday morning, or should I say afternoon because I usually don't get up before noon anyway, read the paper with coffee, watch college football with a couple cold ones and play a little Sims 2 afterwards. Order out Saturday night. Sunday morning is church, then straight back home to watch the Eagles loose yet again! Big Sunday dinner with family and more Sims after that. Awww... what a weekend!!

A good week-end?
A good week-end to me is getting all the duties and shopping over on Saturday, that way you don't have anything over your shoulder so to speak.
Sunday is a day at the nudist beach. Take the shelter a chicken and salad, coffee and a good book. Just swim read and eat. The best part is NO radios, watches, phones, or car noise just ocean, sand and peace.
The bonus for couples is, it is a time to reconnect after a busy work week and spend time on the relationship with out distractions.
Live a healthy happy natural lifestyle and don't forget to slip, slop, slap.

good honest question. it makes you think. I will tell you my story -- this week-end and it was partly fun -- you might call it. they invited me to a community conference to get my ideas on a "safe city" -- i obliged. it was kind of a survey by a research company -- in a major hotel. food was plenty -no alcohol but lots of drinks etc. it was a nice atmosphere-- except during heated discussions and there were some. I met some interesting people, students doing their PhD., professors teaching, community activists who had their own "priorities" etc. etc. then time to leave -- the chairperson approached me a handed me a 50 dollar bill. that was nice. that was for people who made a difference. so you can call it a good weekend. hope you agree.

A good local jumble sale on Saturday, good home prepared food,
a bit of television, bbc radio four, and a visit, or two to the local Netto store on Sunday. The ability to phone friends, and receive calls, and getting some housework done.

A takeaway meal, a nice bottle of wine followed by woo hoo and a long lie in, in the morning.
A chance to catch up on the chores that still need done and I love an empty ironing basket come Sunday evening -(how sad)!!!!

a good week-end starts on a Friday out with friends. Saturday is a late get up, followed by cheese on toast. Saturday afternoon is shopping and a pint in the pub. eve is chilling in front of XFactor with a bottle of wine. Sunday morning taking the kids to football and (hopefully) watching them win, going home to a Sunday roast. Sunday eve is getting onto yahoo answers!
Back to work on Monday

One where my husband and I go out or stay in; watch movies or sleep; play games or sit side by side at our respective computers. He's my best friend, a brilliant companion, an excellent conversationalist, and makes me laugh so hard I get asthma. So, if he's involved; it's a good weekend.
