Perhaps the only comedy where we have a duet of two comic legends from two genrations like Ronnie Barker and David Jason.

It's certainly "one of the best", I'd never even attempt to put them into an order and put one at "number one". I mean where would you put Porridge? Rising Damp? Fawlty? Terry & June?

A very good comedy, but I wouldn't put it above Fawlty Towers, Last of the summer wine, The Good Life, Porridge, or Steptoe and Son. There are lots of good British comedies, of those I like, I wouldn't say any was the best. We can all enjoy a different range of foods, it is good to believe the meal you are eating at present is as good as any, and while watching a comedy, it is more beneficial to enjoy that comedy, rather than compare it with another comedy.

No i think it's good but my favourite is porridge. It is comic genius though the opening credits do suck which ronnie also thought.

yep. the st..st...stuttery guy is great, and the very young David Jason shows himself to be a comic genius from the start!

NO way!! Its probably the only good northern based one though. Only fools and horses and numerous others are far better.
