I'm about to take an "accu check" pregnancy test that i got at the grocery store...it was like $5 for two...has anyone used these? And if so did they work properly for you?

I took one of those pregnancy tests and it didn't work for me. I bought a Clear Blue test teh next day, and it did work.
Some tests are just more sensitive to the pregnancy hormone. I found that the accu check test didnt work for me in early pregnancy, but it may work for you. If it comes up negative, wait 3 days and take the other test. If that comes up negative, then i would recommend buying a more expensive brand. Its true that the more expensive brands work better when it comes to pregnancy tests.
Another brand of pregnancy test that works great is First Reponse. You can buy one that comes with 2 tests for about 12 dollars.

both of my preg tests were done at the doctors, but if you use your ones according to the directions it should work properly they are like 99.999% accurate.
remember to use it in the morning you first pee is always stronger therefore easier for the test to read!

It should work just fine. I used a dollar store brand and it worked. Just make sure you wait long enough past your missed period.

i have got ones from the pound shop and they have worked go on do it and then let us know but maybe better to do it first thing in the morn your urine has the most hcg in it then ! good luck xx
