Derrick Thomas is in the record book for most sacks in a game, but the NFL did not always keep record of sacks. like Deacon Jones always claims to have the most sacks ever. The Eagles player Norman Willey had a game where he got up to 15 sacks. here is a link .

We will probably never know the answer because sack records were not kept when players like Jones were competing. However, I once saw Fred Dryer score two safeties in the same game against the Giants when he was with the Rams.

Hall of Famer John Elway holds the record for being sacked the most all-time. He was sacked 516 times in a 16-year career!

to "the pimps", the girl above me.....he meant who was the person who sacked the QB the most in a game...not the QB that GOT sacked....so you're "wrong wrong wrong"
