If fools like headingthatway think we are splintered and have lost focus because of our bickering, think again. It is our ability to inflame one anothers passion in open debate that makes us great. Piss us off, and you won't face a nation divided. You will face one nation, one people, one voice and the strength of our courage and conviction. Now you and any other idiot who feels like threatening us, go ahead. Just be careful what you wish for.

I agree with you statement to a small extent Right after 9/11 America was one!!! But somewhere somehow, the bickering, hate and not to mention conspiracy theories has once again split the nation down the middle. I am not blaming either side. It is both sides.

On the other hand you are correct!!We are Americans and we will defend our freedoms from aggressive actions like the threats that were provided in your link!!

The thing is, we should all be working towards compromises on public policy. Rather than dismissing someone elses idea because they don't belong to the same party is the kinda stuff those idiots on Capital Hill do. We all need to bring different ideas to the table and stop fighting about who is right or wrong.

With all due respect...we are not united, we are not one nation, one people or voice...we have been torn apart by a group of politicans who have never served, never been under fire and never lost a loved one to war..so let's start the healing...vote to change the way things have been for 6 long years!

I stand by those on the right simply because they are not afraid to fight against those who attack us. They don't waste time considering other people's feelings, their upbringing, their religion, how other people will think about it and the like. If you hit us, we hit you back much much harder. If your feelings get hurt, if you feel like we didn't tolerate you enough, thats too bad.
