Both sides think they're right and the other guy's wrong. In reality, one is just as bad as the other...I don't give a hoot in hell if you're a Liberal, Conservative or NDP, for that matter...though politicians claim that they "care about the people" and "serve the peoples' interests", all they are really serving are their own inflated egos and all they really care about maintaining what John Lennon called "The Portable Rome": their expense accounts, private planes, secret mistresses, and vices. That is all. Whenever there's an election, you always see from Liberals, "You elect the Conservatives, blah blah blah is going to happen!" and vice versa. What they REALLY mean is, "Vote for us, our party's better: we want OUR chance to live in the Portable Rome for a while!" Anybody who thinks politicians are working to serve the interests of their constitutents has been sniffing some pretty good glue. Listen, I took two years of Poli-Sci and like anything else you learn in school the reality throws all the classroom/textbook lessons right out the f--kin' window, okay?

Liberals believe in abortion. Republicans don't. If we can not agree if a woman can kill an embryo, then what can we agree on? If a man stabs a woman in the stomach while she is pregnant and kills the baby, can they charge him with the crime if she was going to have an abortion anyway? This might sound gruesome and sick, but that is what our country has been reduced to. We are fighting about common sense and common sense is losing. The rift between libs and Republicans have always been there. Now there is a rift between realists and people that don't have common sense.

Because we all disagree and know the issues are too important to be decided in an incorrect way

the extremes on both sides think that they are right no matter what is said, sources provided, and arguement is made. Each side sees his/her view and is not open to the others opinion

90% of the people on here boasting "lib this...", "con that..." could not distinguish between the two. This is just fluff they hear on Wolf Blitzer.
