If you find a better job, then go for it. But since Nicaragua is starting to get attention as a travel destination, and the Nicaraguan Congress is voting on an eleven-year plan to make a canal similar to the Panama Canal, there will probably be a lot more job opportunities in the future.

So if you want to stick around for a bit, there might be more jobs and then you won't have to leave such a wonderful country :)



To the post below: You're right, and it's sad. I went to Costa Rica and our cab driver was telling us that Costa Ricans think of Nicaraguans as thieves and bad people, and that them going to Costa Rica is like Mexicans fleeing the border to the US. Why all the hate? Haha.

I've never heard that either. I know a lot of them are going to Costa Rica.I feel bad because Costa Ricans are so rotten towards them.
