how are we supposed to know.
Even if we did know the number, it changes every minute, with people dying and people giving birth, and golf balls getting made, or factories shutting down etc...

Well, im basing it down to this, if i buy 100 balls to whack up the field in a driving range, and there is 10 other guys whacking balls down the range, thats 1000 balls in that small space, and there is prob another 10,000 balls about the park and on the field, then for all the driving ranges and courses in my city - glasgow, there must be at least 1 million balls, then all the cities in scotland, the the Uk and then the world, there must be more balls than people, it makes sense.
