i hurt my knee 5 years ago and 3 years ago. Now it hurts when i have my period and just started hurting all the time it keeps me up at night but i dont walk with much of a limp. i cant keep it in one position too long or it start to hurt? What wrong?

it sounds like you may have ole arthur in it. You could have fluid around your knee causing your pain. When you are on your period it may be the extra weight from water retention, putting pressure on your knees.Have you iced your knees? If you get no relief go see your doctor.

Don't know what's wrong but I do know you should make an apppointment to see your doctor right away.

Do you play any sports such as soccer? You sound like someone I know.

Could be many things, but only a DOCTOR who LOOKS at you and your medical history can tell you. Please go see a doctor - preferably one who specializes in orthopedics.
