Devdas is a great film. The costumes are excellent, the music has held up well over time. The sets were magnificent, the story compelling. I find it very difficult to watch the film because the main character in the film is drinking himself to death and destroying the lives of everyone around him.

Yes I have seen both of them. I think you're talking about the 2002 remake starring Shahrukh Khan. It's a really expensive film that was made and that dance that Aishawarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit did in that movie was EXTREMELY hard because these were wearing like 20 pounds of gold!

Mehna dehka hai! I loved it. It was a bit sad, BUT I LOVED THE SONGS! I like Rai but i think Shah Ruk Khan doesn't realkly like her. I read somewhere that SRK refused to participate in a movie with her. I prefer Kajol and Rani Mukherjee over Aishwarya

I have seen this movie several times and it was 3 years back when my heart was broken. Its a very nice movie. Fantastic acting by Shahrukh Khan.

I've seen it like 100 times..seriously i have..its really good! aish is marvelous in the movie..srk was the best tho!!!! the dancing was soooo goood!!!! Madhuri was also wonderful! that movie was very good..but Srk thinks that they shold have made it with this other actor instead of himself! srk is soo sweet he was hott!

I see several Devadas's everyday whiling away their time watching bollywood or roaming about. Why should I waste my time and money on the movie?

I saw the movie first day first show wid my grandmom.ash was ok Madhuri was gr8.costumes were superb.dance was very nice.
