Some people (not me) find comfort in picking there nose. It makes them feel clean and amuses them when their bored. Some people started when they were little because it was stuffy and they needed to clean it out then it soon became a habbit. So without knowing it the pick their nose.
I'm sure for the people that enjoy picking their nose, it's a sensual experience. I have a friend that LOVES picking her nose and she told me that she loves the feeling of having boogers in her nose and picking it out with her finger.
I know it's weird. I personally think it's gross and is a nasty habit.
