Yes you have growing pains when you go to a rookie QB. Hopefully after all is said and done, it will be better for your team in the future.

They can't all be like Big Ben. Heck put him with another team and he proably wouldn't have been as good in his first year. Also keep in mind he was meant to be Third-String on their depth Chart. Batch ended up hurt in the preseason that year. Actually I think it was before Preseason games and like training camp or something. Thing is though most QBs can't go in their first year and do good.

i know you guys aren't forgetting big Ben's rookie season???

the guy went undefeated until he hit the playoffs his 1st year then won a super bowl his 2nd year.

but most QB's take a few years to adjust to NFL play, its set at a much quicker pace then the NCAA.

The answer would be " NO'' , I didn't know. Or, I don't understand your question. Is it going to be awhile for what ? I think Colt McCoy? will turn out to be real good. I think the QB for Indiana will also.

Most do better to wait and be a backup for a year or two. In their first year, it seem like even Elway was bad.
