Apparently the writers have said that they have enough script for 7-8 seasons

I just hope it doesn't end up like Twin Peaks. The worry is that with a show like this, that they're making it up as they go along or the 'truth' is either messed with to extend the life of the series.

In the UK, on the main channel it is broadcast on, it has been axed after the second series as the audience halved. If they drag it out for too long I imagine the same will happen elsewhere.

Some things are best left small and perfectly formed.

I love that show, I hope it last a long time. I think they can make it last 7-8 seasons, they seem like creative writers.

The writers are annoying. They should wrap up the story sooner than that.
They've only been on the flippingisland for a little over 2 months. stupid writers

I hope not! I watch and like the show but if they don't come up with some "meat" soon I will get bored with it. All those flashbacks are kind of long and boring.

Yeah, it will probably take me 10 years to figure out what the heck is going on in that show anyway.

whatever...i stopped watching after the 2nd season.
it just wasnt as good as it used to be.
it lost its mystery and pizzazz and wasnt nearly as interesting.

it may last that long, but if the ratings are low, then it will be off the air sooner than they think...
