if you want to work in an english speaking country, then yes. I think the reasons why are obvious.

Yes, if you are exploring a career, which requires skills for communication in English. Because you will not be able to meet career responsibilities.

It depends on where you live and what career choice you are making!
Bi-lingual is always an advantage in any occupation, but if you live in say the middle east, it may be more beneficial to learn German or some other language. If you don't plan on working for a company that does business with the USA

It's not necessary unless you are in an English speaking country. If you are, there is virtually nothing you can do in the way of productive employment that does not involve communication.

YES BECAUSE NOBODY WANTS TO LISTEN TO SOMEONE THAT DOES NOT HAVE OR USE PROPER GRAMMAR OR THAT CANNOT SPEAK ENGLISH. THAT IS IF YOU ARE IN THE UNITED STATES.
