Human body cells go through the 6 phases of mitosis in about 1 hour depending on the kind of tissue being duplicated.
Adrenaline, cortisol, and noradrenaline are the three hormones that have a depressive effect on mitosis, and hence tissue restitution.
So, yes, adrenaline does indeed slow down mitosis.

Adrenaline is a hormone secreted by the adrenal glands on the kidney to in response to short-term stress. It can repress the immune system, but aside from that, I can't see how that can affect mitosis.

Sounds like a research still in progress. I am not sure. Never heard of that.
