If their starters stay healthy and the bullpen is more consistent and continue to get strong hitting I see them doing things if not the division they are surely a wild card contender, but I feel that they need to get rid of their manager Gibbons. He has been out managed a lot last year and and challenged one player to a fight and actually did fight another player during a game. I feel that Gibbons does not have the respect of the full team and just can't do the job so he should go.

Maybe. If they can have a healthy pitching staff at the start of the year and have Halladay win 20 games, Burnett 15, and Chacin 13 or 14 then they could certainly compete. The Jays sure had the offense this year with Glaus and Wells each with 30HR and 100RBI seasons. They just need to piece the puzzel together this offseason. One thing they need to do is SIGN OVERBAY TO A MULTIYEAR CONTRACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he was great for the Jays this year hitting 21 homeers and driving in 90 runs. He also plays some stellar deffense. Also on the priority list is lock up Vernon to a multiyear deal. He is an underrated player who has tons of skill and potential. So if they can do those things I think they can definetly contend.

Yes if they get a better bullpen to help their staff. They need some arms besides B.J. Ryan. Maybe they could get someone like veterans Darren Oliver, Ron Villone or Jose Mesa that could eat up a chunk of innings. If they do find some key veteran arms and maybe add a bat they should be contending for the AL East Division or the AL Wild Card.

the variety one precedence is a nearer. They Blue Jays have like 24 blown saves this 12 months. Now blown saves ensue so shall we are saying they simply blow 10 thats supplies them 14 greater wins and a checklist of ninety-60 and a push for 1st place, and standard in the wild card. So a nearer for effective. possibly even Brandon Morrow. in addition they desire yet another starter or 2. appropriate now they have one million.Ricky Romero 2.Henderson Alvarez 3.Dustin McGowan those are the only locks to be in the rotation, now they have Drabek, Cecil, Perez, Morrow(possibly nearer) yet while they might discover yet another stable guy or have one in all the different 4 step up huge, then the rotation might desire to be solid. different than a nearer and one greater guy for the rotation possibly some vets for some management. they are extraordinarily solid on skills everywhere else. Outfield- Bautista, Rasmus, Thames, Sinder, Lowen, Gose. ALOT of skills obtainable. Infield- Lawrie, Escobar, Lind, Cooper, Johnson? possibly. Adeiny Hechavarria, J.P Arenciba and Travis d'Arnaud. Soo they are stacked with skills everywhere you seem assume the rotation the place they simply choose one million greater piece and a nearer for effective. I say circulate Morrow there, or spend some $$$$ which they're going to. all people says its not straightforward how they Yankees might desire to purchase their team, nicely they Jays might desire to do they comparable reason Rogers is loaded and that they suggested they're going to spend while the time is physically powerful, that's that this offseason! And approximately you asserting Drabek getting illuminate in AAA. He replace into pitching in the PCL each and every pitcher that performs down there gets hit around. He only needs to paintings on commanding his fastball.

yes they will and they need to lock up vernon wells and lyle overbay to muilyear deals. There still need to add one or two starts and add depth to there pitching. If the Jays win the AL East then they must go through next season with little to no injuries

Absolutely. They had a tough time this year with the coach and players getting into it numerous times. But I think they have a shot, especially if Burnett can stay healthy.
