Just a thought...but I am no longer young and would like to see avatars with wrinkles and a more mature look. Anyone else agree?

Yes I agree, but if I showed everyone what I really looked like they would tell me to get lost and I am having so much fun bugging the young ones !!

I think that most older people would rather show that they look younger. Many dye their hair to omit the gray.
I have had fun looking much younger than I am in my avatar. Anyway, if it were available I would probably try to show a good representation of myself. I just didn't think it a big deal.

I am assuming that the people creating the avatars and options for their appearances assume that people want to idealize a version of themself in the avatar and not create an exact replica. I am sure they will eventually add those options like they eventually added a little bit larger option to the body size as well.

I agree, but from the programming point of view the wrinkles will be hard to realise.
The reason for not having them might be, that the targeted surfers are usually younger.

I've been wondering the same thing. All the avatars look about 25. There ARE people in other age groups.

I have wondered same thing, only about weight or something like that... not really a helpful answer but I can't seem to find one that absolutely represents me either! Maybe SOME one will change it?

well im 40 and chubby their selection of clothes for large size is lame also.I think they think its all young kids online.
