I have ADHD and I tried EVERY SINGLE MEDICINE ON THE PLANET. It makes me sick and I can't manage my life without procrastination, food binging, and perfectionism. I want to know from people who suffer this problem, how you cope with this problem. I REALLY WANT PEOPLE WITH ADD OR ADHD TO ANSWER BECAUSE ANYONE THAT DOESN'T HAVE THIS PROBLEM WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND.

=Here are some suggestions for you and I have included a great link as well. I have it yet managed to get a Masters in Social Work.

Hang a large calendar where you will see it every day
Write down all appointments
Use a date book or organizer to keep track of information
Write lists and post "sticky" notes around your home or office
Have one place to keep your keys, wallet, and bills
Break big tasks into smaller jobs
Talk with those close to you for support
Learn as much as you can about ADHD

I don't have ADHD, but I think you would be able to manage your lifestyle without it. When I was a kid in school we never heard of ADHD. I'm sure it was around, and those kids with it managed. It will take some hard work and effort, but if you really want to make it without meds I sure you can. Good Luck

I am not much on meds but I hope your folks or friends will let you present your-self with some encouragement and help you with things along with friends even though some aren't always worth the try but I hope eventually you find the people that are right and you can get through life better or can treat yourself to a pet or project or cause!

yes you can, you just need to find a activity that you like doing that will burn excessive energy. I used sports and weightlifting, and I made it through school.
