Some guys do that because they think gay is funny (I don't). I think it's because we're raised to be manly all the time and be suspicious of the effeminate. So it's kind of a daring thing to act that way in public. It makes other people slightly uncomfortable, so there's also the naughty factor. It's takes a certain sense of humor.
I wouldn't worry about it, though, they're just being silly and having fun.

My hubby does nothing of the sort and I confess - I have never seen a situation like what you have described. Just my own thoughts though - they are either bi-sexual and think that by pretending that they are just having a laugh they can cover it up (but actually ebjoy it) or, they are just very homophobic as people like to make fun of things that scare them or they know little about.
If it really upsets you then tell your hubby that it is not on and ask that he not do that again out of respect for your feelings. If you are concerned enough about it to the point that you have to tell him the way you feel then I hope he listens to you and respects you enough to stop being an idiot.

Well, you may also have noticed that the only acceptable humor now a days is at the expense of white men. Nothing else is considered acceptable.
Humor used to be how people dealt with issues that were of concern. By using humor people explored those issues in a way that was less of a threat to their self esteem. They also used humor as an outlet for fears, frustrations, and life's stresses, commonly called gallows humor.
Now people have one less outlet for resolving life's issues. No wonder so many people have unresolved issues.

What would be the consequences of the two of you coming out? If they would be easier than being accused of living in sin, then do it. You both need to choose the path that will make your lives happier. If there is another gay man or gay woman interested in either one of you, then they will not pursue it if you continue with the front. And neither of you will find true happiness.

This sounds classical Male bonding case.
Men being good friends often leads to a bit awkward ways of showing it. That's a kind of a way to test the friendship and make it stronger.. Like "how gay can you get without being gay.
This can be a bit disturbing.
I know. I'm a man.

Either they have "secret desires" or most likely they just think it's funny. On TV and the movies they make you laugh right? Like Big mama's house, White Chicks etc. Us guys have weird sense of humor, sorry.

I didn't know that men do that. Your husband is probably gay and is trying to hide it. By the way, homosexuality is not wrong and the world would be a better place if we could just shut up and accept it. With that being said - good luck, hun.

It's just one of those fun things men do to tease their womenfolk. No harm done. However, if your husband thinks that homosexuality is "wrong" he has some issues to deal with. Sorry to hear about that. Homophobes have no place in today's world.
