Bondage straps? They would have to be quite sturdy to be dangerous. Otherwise if they get tangled up in something they should just break.

I'm familiar with goth (used to dress punkyish goth in the 80's) but don't know the trousers w/straps...sorry

Only annoying to the people who have to see you wearing them.
Only possibly dangerous to you if they got caught on something, say machinery in a factory, or a vehicle moving by.

when some is old then it is ok to bind the trouser with the shirt to arrange easily .
