I wouldn't support an All-
Canadian League but I would love to see the original six teams( Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Chicago, Detroit and New York) in an Eastern Conference Division!!!!

I can understand why a Canadian division would seem attractive, but it would be like the days of the Patrick, Norris, Adams, and Smythe Divisions that had the Kings and Canadiens in the Norris and with Boston and California in the Adams. It doesn't make geographical sense to some.

Personally, I think most of the teams that are located south of the Mason-Dixon line should be dissolved or moved to northern locations most of which should be in Canada. Perhaps there could be Canadian and American Conferences.

No, that isnt the answer. If they arent getting enough attendance, then they shouldnt have changed the rules or had the lockout. I think people just lost intrest in the game after not having it for a year. And besides, having a only Canadian division is a assface idea anyway, who are you kidding. The canadian teams already play enough games against each other. Toronto plays Ottowa 8 times this year. They also play Montreal 8 times to. That is a stupid idea!!!!!

1. What cities would play in a Canadian Super League?
2. Where would you get the money to pay the players? European Leagues are starting to pay the same top dollar that NHL teams are (The average payroll in the Swedish Elite League is $32MM USD - and teams make a profit!)

No. This is a stupid question. No one was into hockey in L.A. until Gretzky and then look what happened.Give the fans some good players to watch and attendance will pick up.

No. Regional divisions are better simply for travel logistics. Considering how many games they play, this is an important point.

no, because by doing so, you would isolate the US teams, and create less interest. also, you would force the canadian teams to fight against each other, meaning less canadian teams in the playoffs

nope. i mean canada doesn't have enough money to support all the teams that they are in the u.s. if there was an only canada league there would only be like 5 teams. thats not very intresting is it?
