Sqrt 10+8 / -5 Sqrt 10 + 1

This is a fraction, and I am not
able to calculate square roots

now I think I see what you are saying:

Sqrt 10 (+8) ouside the Sqrt and
-5 (in front of Sqrt) Sqrt 10 (+1)

I think that is what you are saying...

I'm not quite sure what your equation, please put in parentheses. If the 1 is outside the squareroot, simply multiply top and bottom by the conjugate. For example, Sqrt(10) + 1, multiply by (Sqrt(10) -1). This will get rid of the denminator's radical.
