30 amp fuse keeps blowing. replaced every part under hood. it will run if you use a wire instead of a fuse. but what is causing the fuse to blow when i try to start my jeep.

first you need to see what part is being powered by that fuse. that can give you a starting point on to fixing your problem.

If you want to smoke the entire wire harness, go ahead and put a wire in place of the fuse.About the only short that draws that much juice is a wire touching ground somewhere. Learn how to use a $10 ohmmeter to see the short so you can look for it without blowing fuses.
