Having Dre behind you for promotion both inside & outside the hiphop community is a huge boost. Let alone that MTV was in its video/music days back then that helped get him big. He was also an unbelievable rapper with his own style & without sounding rude to get accepted by what essentially was a racist genre on the underground to white artists (hip-hop) was a huge success, still has his own style though it seems recently some of his works are geared more towards mainstream. Not that thats bad, its just different to what he was & mainstream is a sure way to keep famous if you can keep pushing top 10 singles

No. Take a look at The Streets, Lady Sovereign, and Plan B. Plan B isn't that famous, but he makes quality music. The Streets and Lady Sov are very famous in the United Kingdom.

Bubba Sparxxx is very famous also, but his music doesn't have much substance, in my opinion. Vanilla Ice was also famous for a brief period, along with many more. Oh and don't forget the Beastie Boys! They're great.

I hoped I helped you. :)

Vanilla Ice, just kidding. I am 40ish and like Eminem, but wish he'd stay away from Kim.

Check out RITTZ. He is by far the most talented. And in my opinion, the best rapper in the game right now.
