when i go in, what are the procedures, what do you tell the clerk, and where do you pay? my family is going and i dont want us to seem all aloof.

is it really worth it? my sis is getting the lowest priced bear. is that a better idea, or do you just choose which one you want, becose in the end it will all be worth it?

thanks.

it is definetly worth it. you go in and pick the bear or animal you want, you pick a heart for your bear and they stuff it, most places will let the children help stuff it by mashing the pedal. then the next station is where they sew up the bear. then you can take the bear to the bathtub and brush him and stick it under the blower to blow off the loose fur. if you want to purchase clothes then you would pick an outfit and dress it. then you go to the computer and pick out a name and birth certificate or birth story. then you pay and they put the bear in a tree house box.

it is a very fun experience for everyone. it can get a little pricey if you pick out clothes, accessories and toys. the last time i went with my kids they have a card they give you. for every 10 dollars spent you get one punch on a card, once you get the card filled you get 10 dollars off.

Just go in pick your bear they will be lined on the wall, if you want sound that's the next stop then you can hand the bear to the lady shell tell you to pick a heart from a bin next her, next shell make you say a silly little rhyme or something with the heart then you'll put it in the bear shell ask you for a name for it then shell stuff it, then if you want you can dress it or maybe not, next you can either make a birth certificate or a story with your bears name on the computer. Its fun if you are a child because you feel like you are making it your self. Good luck!

I don't think it's worth it but I guess the little kids really like it. The lowest price bear is still like $16. You walk in pick up the bear you want go to the stuffing machine and get it stuffed and the extra hair blown off. Then you can pick out clothes is you want. then you go to the computer and make a birth certificate for it and then you go and pay for it all at the very end. Hope this helps...Have fun!!

Well usually the people that work there come up to you and ask if you have ever "built a bear before" and if not they will walk you through ALL the steps and after your animal is stuffed you pick out an outfit (if you want) and when your done picking out everything youy want you bring your animal up there and pay for it.....

get whatever one you want I got a $20 kitty and Im glad I did! Good Luck and have fun!

My grandchildren absolutely love build a bear. You pick your animal take it to have it stuffed then pick out their outfits. They have all kinds. They also have every accessory you could ever want. Shoes-hats etc.
You need to be thinking of a name for your critter. He/She gets a birth certificate with name and all.

It's not just for kids either. My daughter, her hubby and two kids (boy and a girl) all have bears and critters.

Lastly, I would say to pick the one you want don't just go by price. My bear has several outfits and I change him with the seasons.

Good luck and enjoy!

well you just get a bear and decide wut u what want to wear! You tell or ask the clerk: Where do I start to make my bear?

yes it is expensive just to tell you: its not really that worth it once you play with it for a while you will put it aside so that last question , i cant answer it , it depends on u!
