Do you guys think if you keep asking this question we will break down, deny all the scientific evidence and agree with you????
OK OK OK You win...I chose it. On June 28 1970 in a fit of rage on the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots I threw away my GI Joe stole an Easy Bake oven and starting making cupcakes for Ken.
I chose to be fag bashed and left for dead. I chose to have nearly everyone I went to college with die in a hideous plague.
You win....your clever tactic of asking the same moronic question 14002 times finally got me to admit the truth.
Now what do you want?

Every action, thought, movement, etc... is a choice , a decision . Be it right or wrong. There are plenty of people out there that are gay and in the closet because they made that choice. You would be surprised at the people you know and maybe even love that are gay. So being gay or straight is something inside us that we decide whether to accept and know that we are who we are. So I say NO, it's not a choice, it's in us from the get go.

Its not a choice, people don't wake up and say "Wow its a great day I think I'm going to change my sexuality and like men" get a life if you think its a choice then you're more retarded than most people on this damn website.

Being gay is not a choice. The only choice is to admit to yourself who you find sexually attractive and who you choose to share that information with.

Why would you think anyone would "CHOOSE" to be hated, be descriminated against, harassed, beaten, even murdered?
Did you actually CHOOSE your sexuality? Either heterosexual or homosexual.
When did you know you had to make that choice?
How was that choice presented to you?
Who gave you that choice?
Why did you choose your sexuality?
If you can answer any of those without the "pat answers" of "christian" fundies, then we'll talk.

It sounds like you are straight, therefore it is not a concern for you.
However, think about it like this- if you were required to fall in love and create a life with someone of the same gender, would you be able to do it? How would you feel if you were told that if you cannot create a life with someone of your same gender, that you were required to live life alone rather than with another person who is attracted to people of the opposite gender?

of course it's not a choice. why don't you tell us when you "chose" to be straight? you didn't, did you!? why do people think we "choose" to be gay/lesbian, when straight people don't make a choice in their sexual orientation? this question is asked so many times in this forum....it's getting really tiresome.

The nature vs. nurture argument in its finest. hehehe
If I had to pick a side however, I would say Nature wins. A child can grow up in a religious home, or a home where homosexuality isn't a topic in conversation, and still become gay. Case and point: my best friend.
