The research I've done says to use a ceramic compound to reduce the CPU heating. The best one of those out there now is "Arctic Silver" thermal grease. It's available in a lot of stores and on line. I don't think that Weller's 8001 HT silicon sealant is what you need for this application. What you need to use between the CPU and the heat-sink/fan is a BB sized drop of "thermal compound" or "thermal grease" from a computer store, don't use anything else, otherwise go buy another CPU for yourself right now!
