According to this diary which was recently found, he was apparently a spy, and may have been murdered because of his involvement with the government. What do you think?

I improve drained of human beings connecting the dots to come back up with wild nonsense about useless celebs. Houdini's existence is interesting adequate without the more effective blandishments. Strictly commercial.

I really don't know but I have always been fascinated by the man. I'm looking forward to reading the book about him, it comes out in Feb right?
I don't know about him being murdered by spiritualists, sounds too far fetched to me,I'll have to read the book.
