Being gay is not a choice, therefore it doesn't come under the category of right or wrong as either a moral or a practical choice.
Gay behavior could be wrong in some situations, and right in others. It's not a sin per se, and thus not wrong, per se.
Bible thumpers will advise you differently, but they really aren't free to express opinions that differ from what they are told to believe by a mythical source of "wisdom."

Depends on what you mean. Most religions, including Christianity, believe it to be a sin, or at least to be incorrect.
If you believe in Darwinism evolution, and the survival of the fittest, it would seem illogical for a collection of genes to deliberately eliminate themselves from the gene pool by programming into a species a sexual preference that prevents reproduction (the ideal of survival of the fittest implies that genes are trying to survive by passing along copies of themselves into the next generation). Why would genes commit the equivalent of suicide by programming into a species a desire NOT to reproduce, therefor rendering these genes extinct? It would seem to be a birth defect and an evolutionary dead end (like being born without a leg, or something similar).

The Bible says it is.....and the Bible is absolute truth, so yes.
However, the grace of God overcomes sin, so it can be forgiven if we receive the grace. I am a Christian and do lots of things wrong! I looked at porn last night, for example.
Doesnt mean you are worse than anyone else. Doesnt mean I am worse than anyone else.
