Or how old the fetus is? Nothing on the picture makes it specifically hers - except maybe the name of the clinic she says she goes to. Does this sound right, or could she be faking that it is her ultrasound? i only saw the pic online -email

The ultrasound pics always have the mothers name on it. Doesnt have the due date though. I had ultrasounds twice a month til I was 26 weeks pregnant and then weekly until I delivered a month early {due to being high risk of premature labor} and all of mine have my name on it and MY date of birth as well as the date the ultrasound was done and time as well as the place the ultrasound was done {mine has the hospital name listed}. All the ultrasounds I had and there were many of them never had a due date on it. The lady above me said they put her SSN on the ultrasound pics, mine never had that so it must very hospital to hospital. As for calling the clinic to see if she had them done there, most clinics can not give out such information.

Your name and social security number are usually on the ultrasound picture as well as the name of the clinic or hospital. However, since you received this by email, the woman may have used a photo editor to remove her personal information for her own protection.

I posted my ultrasound pictures online and I removed my personal information because I don't want someone taking my name and social and trying to use the information to steal my identity.

Every ultrasound photo has the mothers name first and last, and the date it was done. Before they begin your scan they have to put this information in the computer so they know whos ultrasound it is. Evey picture has to have her name on it.It will not tell her due date but definatly her name and date when it was.

My 1st u/s during my 1st pregnancy had the date but no due date, no sex of the baby or it did not have how far along I was, but I think it had my last name but not so sure on that (6 years ago). The 1 I've been getting lately have the date, my full name, the time, and that's about it.

you might want to check further into this. my friend Stephen was with this girl Brandi and they broke up and she said she was pregnant and showed him a ultra sound picture with no name on it and when it was time for her to be "having the kid" she said she had a still born baby. she said she had a boy and named it after him and had gave him 2 pictures of the still born baby and when he glanced at the pictures he got really upset and depressed and when we all (friends) started looking closely at the picture we noticed the baby was wrapped in white blanket with pink roses and had a pink beanie on.So be careful some women are sick and will go far links to keep up a lie.

All of the pictures I've come home with so far have my name and the date they were taken, plus the clinic where they were taken and a bunch of stuff I don't undertand (I'm seeing a German OB).

Hmmm.. mine all had my name on them and were done at different places. You could be nosy by calling the clinic and just asking if they do or don't put that info on. Just don't ask specifically about the pregnant woman, don't even mention her name.

Actually, my doc doesn't take the time to put my name and information on the screen. However, he does have the fetal measurements on there.

It could be the case with your "friend" or she could be lying.
