I want to start reading a new manga but I don't know what. I want it to be funny, and relaxed, like Azumanga Daioh, or Club 9 or Ah! My Goddess!. Something shojo and light hearted. I've already got all of Sailor Moon and Chobits, they were great.

Fushigi Yuugi/ The Mysterious Play
Admittedly, it does get a little rough towards the latter end *some violence and an implied rape* but it is beautifully well drawn, has an incredible storyline, is uber romantic, is very funny most of the time and is loaded with bishonen goodness *drools over Tasuki and Hotohori figurines*

I'm not sure if it's shojo, but I loved Fuushugi Yugi. It's definately worth reading.

bleach is good. funny, but not that violent. seriously, it's hilariously. hana-kimi is another. for both girls and guys. about a girl who wants to meet this high jumper in japan however he goes to an all guys school. so she disguises herself as a guy to meet him. so funny that i'm laughing my *** off.
