My recycling bing says that the size is 21 GB. I looked in it and there is absolutely nothing. Whenever I try and empty Norton protected files it always says there are 80. Is this what is taking up all the space? If not then what is? And how can I get rid of it?

Its probably more of the maximum size limit for your recycle bin is 20 GB, but never the less, you may want to download and run Ccleaner www.ccleaner.com to remove any extra files you may have.

first of all, it's RECYCLE BIN, not recycling bing!

click on My Computer - right click Properties on Local Drive C - click on Disk Cleanup - then check all the items there, and click OK

this may take quite some time, if you really have a 21GB trash in your recycling bing!
